A sustainable jewellery line, connecting with the heart

Progressing onto Design Crafts,  I wanted to try and make jewellery, to gain firsthand experience and get an idea of the industry. This is my Art Portfolio Major Project 1.

As resources become scarce, it is extremely important to consider and protect the environment for future generations. This project comprises of a sustainable jewellery line based on themes of colour psychology and emotions. It is about creating a connection between the jewellery and the person wearing it, making it a part of them, embracing their accessories. I have attempted recycling and upcycling techniques to create my jewellery line, mostly working with throwaway material and minimal supplies, such as wires, threads, and plastic packaging.

I organised my pieces into coloured and designed themes, digitally photographing all of my work to clearly display the jewellery worn by the models. Below are my four final product ranges. I hope you enjoy looking at my portfolio!
